Client requirement

External and internal surface refurbishment of 1700 century barn, which is to be transformed into a Visitors Centre. Specifications included- to remove paint layers from all brickwork and return the original appearance plus surface refurbishment of Woodwork.

Project solution

External – Precision surface external refurbishment using our state of the art Swiss manufactured equipment, using calcium carbonate “rolling action media”, and remove layers of staining and return the natural colour of the brick surfaces.

Internal – Equipment and process as above. To remove white layers of paint around the complete complex, to reveal the original soft face of the brickwork, undamaged and to a high-quality finish.

  • All internal wood and beams, sensitively precision surface refurbished
  • All surfaces saturated steamed to make surfaces sterile prior to coating
  • Dust and woodworm repellent spray application to brick and woodwork.
